MFTC now accepting applications for their Maui Street Market food truck hub

The nonprofit Maui Food Technology Center (MFTC) announces an exciting opportunity for food truck entrepreneurs looking to operate in the Kahului area. Applications are now being accepted for MFTC’s food truck hub, the “Maui Street Market,” located in the parking lot at 150 Hana Highway, next to The Club Maui fitness center. Space is subject to availability.

Rent is $750 per month with an initial deposit of $750. A 6-month minimum lease contract is required. MFTC will provide security cameras, water, trash service, relief stations and 6 gazebos with picnic tables. Food trucks must provide their own generator for power. A number of parking stalls located adjacent to the food truck hub are available for customers.

The Maui Street Market is open 7 days a week, however, food trucks can set their own operating hours.

“Whether your food truck is already established or you’re just starting out, having a central location in Kahului at an affordable lease can definitely help your bottomline,” said Luana Mahi, MFTC President. “Our food truck hub offers a great opportunity to establish a home base that you can build your clientele while strengthening your own unique brand and menu offerings.”

Food truck operators interested in reserving a space should contact MFTC’s office at email info@mauifoodtechnology.org or call 888-948-6382. Space is subject to availability.
