Maui Food Technology Center (MFTC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging, educating and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs seeking to earn a living through value-added products, agriculture, cultural practices, food and environmental sustainability, technology and economic diversification.

  • Mayor Victorino announces grant awards for Hawaiian cultural event and community awareness

    Mayor Michael Victorino announced the award of grants to two nonprofit groups, for fiscal year 2022, totaling $28,400 to support Hawaiian cultural events and raise community awareness of and appreciation for the islands’ host culture. Maui Food Technology Center has received $18,400 for its project, Maui Nui a Kama Pa`hana Hoailona Ahupua - Kula Uka.

    Mayor Michael Victorino announced the award of three County of Maui grants totaling $155,000 to three nonprofits to support farmers, food security, workforce development and diversified agriculture, the Office of Economic Development announced. MFTC has received a $25,000 grant for its Maui Sunday Market project.
